Sinopse

"This is the second time I have immersed myself in the challenge of simultaneously conceiving two scripts on the same theme, one for the cinema and the other for the theatre. The script for this film can be characterised as music-video and represents my conviction regarding the equal relevance of music, image and text. The dialogues are intermingled with my music, which was specially composed for the script, and also bring to the surface my past works, illustrating landmark moments and sometimes accompanied by music as sound landscape. Author Adriana Lisboa wrote a novel inspired by my work, focussing on some of my multimedia pieces that marked her artistic life. The title of her novel, Realejo dos mundos (Barrel Organ of the Worlds), is the same as that of my multimedia piece presented in 1987 in the Estádio de Remo da Lagoa, in Rio de Janeiro. On reading her manuscript, I felt a profound empathy with her poetic language and decided to adapt it for cinema and theatre simultaneously..."--
