Sinopse

The present catalogue presents close to 60 publications, particularly books from the decade of the 1970, the time when marginal poetry was at its highest. Includes publications by Ana Cristina Cesar, Cacaso, Chico Alvim, Geraldo Carneiro, Roberto Schwarz, Chacal, Bernardo Vilhena, Guilherme Mandaro, Eudoro Augusto, Zuca Sardan, Luis Olavo Fontes, amongst others who organized groups and literary brands like "Frenesi", "Nuvem cigana", "Vida de artista", and "Capricho". Includes also mimeographed booklets such as those by Nicolas Behr, photographs and literary magazines related to this era, such as Navilouca and the two editions of the Almanac Biotnico Vitality. "Marginal Poetry" did not run away from the books. On the contrary, they made them a privileged instrument. Without much money, the authors devised ways to edit their publications, without relying on publishers, who were little receptive to a genre anything but commercial. The object speaks by itself. There was something of guerrillas, pamphlet" --Page [7].
